Wheel Throwing Taster for Kids (12+)

Has your child ever wanted to try the pottery wheel? Our School Holiday Wheel Throwing Taster is the perfect chance for young creatives aged 12+ to give it a go!

Under friendly guidance, they’ll learn how to centre clay, throw a small pot, and glaze it in one colour. We’ll fire it for them, ready for collection in 2–3 weeks.

It’s a fun, hands-on way to experience the wheel – and if they catch the pottery bug, we’ll have a special discount for those who want to join our 5-week term-time course!

Please note: Wheel throwing requires patience, focus, and care. Children should be able to follow instructions and manage themselves, as they’ll be working with specialised equipment.
